Has as much ability as anyone in the league his ago, imo. Trouble is, he's attitude doesn't match that. By that, I mean you never really got the impression he was giving everything on the pitch. In a way, his casual style is admirable. But he can seem lazy.
I still would have loved to see him have a run of games in a West Ham team that plays a bit of football.

Suggesting he could replace Koyoute is laughable, he's never de strayed that level of application in any games he's played in

Maybe he would have kicked on this season if he'd have focused on his football.
As it is he's got a very serious court case coming up and his few showings have been very uninspiring
Poor show by him must try harder!

Bit in the paper this morning about Poyet going out on loan as well. Strange, given Kouyate's injuury

What is the actual reason the club have said why he has gone on loan? Or have they not said?
I really thought he would kick on this year and make that number 10 role his own. What happened?

Fuck Ravel, fuck his attitude, fuck his passenger like performances, fuck his legal problems, fuck any thought of him in claret & blue.
Says something when he has been loaned to a team with no manager in the league below.
We had a punt, aside from a result against Spurs it didn't work, move on.

To be fair mate, it was only you and Alex V who was talking about a 20 million pound transfer.
You think Ravel should have replaced Kouyate as the midfield enforcer ahead of about 6 players who are both more suitable for the role and have trained hard and waited patiently for their chance?
Blimey!

To be fair he hasn't had much of a chance. I would have giving him a couple run outs in the next few games to prove himself as Kouyate's out.
So he'll be gone for free in the summer after talk of a 20m transfer after the spurs game.
Bad man management.

from my current perspective i.e today, i think that his goal against Spurs shot him up there in all of our eyes and then we got to see some traing ground snippets of what looked like genius.
But, as has been said below, Alex red nose got rid, Redknapp didnt go back in for him this year having worked with him and now he gone to Cardiff.
they must know somethig we dont i mean even Mitchell Thomas scored every now and then

With Kouyate out for 6 weeks, I thought he had a decent chance of getting some games, at least from the bench. Pesonally, I would have kept him.

I think the fact Red Nose let him go even though he acknowledged his potential says it all, if he couldn’t get through to him and threw in the towel and let him go then don’t think anyone will, would also guess he is a negative impact in the changing room and a bit of a loner, maybe has problems with relationships at all levels which is highlighted by his recent charges.

Too lightweight at the moment. He needs to be able to keep the ball better and not get knocked off it so easily. He could do that by working in the gym and building himself up etc... but does he have that kind of dedication or like others say, does he think he is the finished article already?

I think he is that good , in trainning , in a few matches , but I thibk his problem he thinks he is the finished article when he is far from it .
